Vintage 1980s Nikko R/C Toyota MR2

This 1986 vintage Toyota MR2 R/C car Nikko is being offered without its controller, but is nevertheless in good condition and very collectible. Whether you're a Toyota fan, R/C collector or model car hoarder, this unique Japanese R/C car is an uncommon find. Some sources state that it was only sold in the Japanese market, but we believe that it was likely exported to Canada and elsewhere as well. Very few of these have appeared for sale online in any condition.

Car operates at 49 MHz and measures 7.25" x 3.35". This item has not been tested with a controller, but the battery compartment is free of corrosion and the wheels appear to move smoothly without any indication of damage. The antenna has noticeable kinks and some decals are lifting at the edge.

MR2 collectors won't let this sit for long, so don't hesitate if this is the "Mister" for you.
